Experience You Can Trust
Willa Wang is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P), with an academic degree from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University—one of China’s top institutions for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since earning her degree in 1997, she has built over 25 years of hands-on clinical experience, focusing on acupuncture and herbal medicine to support natural healing.

Before moving to Canada, Willa practiced in a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital and served as a research associate at her university’s acupuncture lab, where she treated a wide range of conditions—including chronic pain, migraines, nerve disorders, digestive issues, and stress-related symptoms.

Her approach is grounded in deep training and decades of patient care. She combines traditional techniques with a gentle, thoughtful style that prioritizes results, comfort, and long-term well-being.

Since 2016, Willa has proudly served the Nanaimo community. Her clinic has been consistently named one of the Top 3 Acupuncture Clinics in Nanaimo for six consecutive years—an honor based on strong patient feedback.

With decades of hands-on experience, Willa offers knowledgeable, dependable care to patients seeking natural and effective solutions to a wide range of health concerns.

Pain Management and Whole-Person Care
Willa’s primary clinical focus is pain relief—including back and neck pain, joint stiffness, sports injuries, migraines, and post-surgical recovery. She integrates channel-based acupuncture, trigger point therapy, and myofascial techniques to reduce inflammation, restore function, and relieve pain.

She also works with complex, multi-system patterns, particularly:

-
Hormonal and menstrual imbalances
-
Anxiety, mood changes, and insomnia
-
Digestive discomfort and fatigue
-
Long COVID and immune challenges
A Style of Practice That Follows Through
Willa’s patients often describe her as calm, focused, and deeply attentive. She approaches each treatment with careful observation and quiet concentration, tailoring her methods to each patient’s condition and progress over time.

She treats with quiet precision, adjusting her methods over time for real, lasting outcomes. Patients feel reassured by her thorough follow-through and the way she continuously refines her treatment based on subtle feedback from the body—not just addressing symptoms, but listening to the body’s deeper signals.

This commitment to thoughtful care and long-term healing is what brings many people back to her practice year after year.
